Lead Certified

In April of 2010, new Federal Guidelines went into effect which require certain lead-based paint testing guidelines to be followed in all homes built prior to 1978. Removal guidelines must be followed in homes testing positively for lead paint. Part of the requirements of the guidelines are that a Lead Renovation, Repair, and Painting (LRRP) Certified Renovator must oversee any project where lead based paint is disturbed.

Professional Home Improvement is a U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Lead-Safe Certified Firm.
This certification qualifies us to work on homes built before 1978, because these homes may contain lead based paint. This is important in all homes but especially those in which children live, since they are more susceptible to damage caused by lead paint.

We are available to complete all of your home improvement needs for any home, including these pre-1978 homes.
